We are having a fundraiser show!!!! The show is a go!!! For anyone and everyone interested please attend! Tonight @ 10pm, thanks to the good people at Sticky Rice and RVA Magazine we will treat Richmond audiences to Cinema Insomnia’s Santa Clause Conquers the Martians and also show case Eric Miller’s Taste the Blood of Frankenstein starring Mr. Lobo, as well as the non-stop Monster party: zombies!!!
In other fantastic news, we are only 3 days away and less than $2,000 from making our goal!!! The collective efforts are really cranking out to make it a landslide finish. I’ve shamelessly plugged this fundraiser on all the electronic outlets I participate in, and have even resorted to wearing a makeshift donation box on my head to collect loose change from co-workers. It’s working like a charm!
A BIG thank you for everyone who’s made each morning feel like Christmas so far!! 2 years ago

Since joining the cause, Lobo has been able to raise over an additional $1,000!!! And at least $500 of that has come from the East Coast!!
True to my word I am warming up for the 10k in April with costume ideas in mind. It won’t be long before I’m shopping for wigs!!
In the meantime, director Eric Miller and I are still on the hunt for a venue to show a last minute Cinema Insomnia-athon with a view to raise additional funds. We’re still gathering raffle items so stay on the look out!!
Thank you everyone for your support. Don’t forget to check back with the Official CI Fundraiser site to see encouraging updates and new incentives everyday from Mr. Lobo! 2 years ago

Help save a classic American phenomenon! TV Horror Hosts have delighted audiences all over this country for decades! These entertainers are as genuine as they come, both in their love for the genre and for their appreciation of their fans. Mr. Lobo and Cinema Insomnia are the perfect examples of keeping that ghoulish light burning bright for the future!
This lovable Sacramento, CA host has done much in the past decade to keep the genre alive in the public mind, put new material out there, encourage other hosts and support independent and b-movie makers alike! You can see him annually at San Diego’s Comic-con or catch him at an event on the east coast!
Take the time, if you are not already addicted to this American sub-culture, and learn more about Horror Hosts:
Father of the late-night Creature Feature, Bob Wilkins
Documentary on Virginia Horror Hosts, Virginia Creepers
Mr. Lobo and episodes of Cinema Insomnia
Support the fundraiser, ending December 18th!!!
