We finished this last night. 5 more to go, she’s enjoying them.
I read them all with my little sister. She made me read with a british accent and make up strange voices. It was great. I love the alegorical symbolism and links to Christianity found throughout the book. I think that these books help children become better people.
In order to read them to your children, you would have had to read them yourself. I must say CS LEWIS IS GREAT
These are great books, We finished the LWW before we took our kids to see the movie. It’s such a wonderful book, and it really helps kids to visualize redemption, and other doctrines of the Christian faith. I found that reading a chapter each night a dinner is working out well.
And I my teacher read ‘The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe’ to my class. I loved that book, and I’ve read them over and over during my childhood and even up to my adulthood. It’s been about 10 years since I’ve read the books, but I want to make a goal of reading these to my children. My older 2 children are in second grade, I know they would really love these stories. The Chronicles of Narnia are by far some of the best fictional stories ever written.
