My first game in a while, I played really bad, but actually I realised tonight that I play bad in general. Ok Memorably misplayed hands
2nd hand in land K-K raise it 500 (10 x blind) way too big every one suspicious, one tight caller who probalbly had AJ or something similar and one loos player in it for value. I hit King on the flop, raise it 1000, everyone folds pts me on a monster pair, obviously they haven’t hit the King so whateveer they’re calling with has hit nothing or hit low
somewhere in the middle of game I get K-9 and decide its worth a shot, gets raised 500 I call its reraised, and I figure Im in it for value and call, end up folding wjhen its reraised again, never saw what he had
last hand – i get KQ and think its awesome, its raised 700 I flat call i hit the K, but there is an A on the board, he hits out big with a 1600 bet and I igure he is continuation betting bt actally hes got AK
2 pair and Im dead in the water – derogatory comments as I leave the table, tail swinging between my legs, it was terrible play
All round I am too conservative (although alot of players are, a tight style might suit me but Ive got to stick to it better than I did tonight I played only a few hands loosely which is a death trap
Shouldve realised it was a loose table and tightened up and not raised even with a monster maybe?
Dan took special note of my last play, perhaps can use it against him?
KQ calls he said in regard to his second raise
I have to play better than this!!

Titan Poker is one of the few online poker software packages in my view that actually does indeed deserve the hoopla that has been raised about it. And from someone like me that is very much the annoying consumer, that is certainly saying quite a bit about it.

Titan Poker has a very decent bonus offer available right now, The Titan Poker bonus is not the only promotion offered however, even though the Titan Poker bonus is good enough to be a standalone promotion. There are other promotions you can take advantage of after you finish clearing the bonus, one of which is known as the Top Hand of the Day Bonus.

Poker is a massive part of pop culture these days. You will see poker designs in clothing from mainstream designers, not to mention all the poker-specific niche products available.
Leaving aside the commercialization of poker, many idioms in the English language have roots in the game we love. They have become such a seamless part of colloquial English, and many people use them without realizing that they have anything to do with poker.
Followings are some 5 most commonly used in poker idioms:
5. Raise the stakes (two-way tie)
Common meaning: To increase in importance or danger
Poker meaning: To increase the amount of money each poker player is buying in with, or putting at risk.
4. Holding all the cards
Common meaning: To be in a strong position when you are competing with someone else, because you have all the advantages
Poker meaning: You have the winning hand, with no chance of your opponent winning.
3. Play your cards right
Common meaning: Advice implying that if someone behaves in the right way, they will succeed at something.
Poker meaning: Any poker hand can win if you play it correctly.
2. Wild card
Common meaning: Someone or something that you do not know much about and whose behavior in the future you cannot be certain of
Poker meaning: A specific card can substitute for any other card in the deck.
1. Ace up in your sleeve
Common meaning: To have some hidden knowledge or plan that could be the deciding factor in your success.
Poker meaning: Cheating in poker game by holding on to aces until an opportune time to play them.

I believe that poker is a game that EVERYONE can play! Age, religion, Sex, Ethnicity, ect…does not matter. Simple game, lots of fun!! How many other games do you know that your grandparents, parents, children and siblings can all play together where you have to used mathematics, psychology, skill, and still worry/hope for luck?
Honestly, I enjoy the game just because every hand is different, elements change from people, positioning, place, ect..and no hand is ever the same. It may be boring to fold for 45 minutes when you are just not getting cards, but AA will still not be played the same way if dealt it 100 times in a row (lol!)
I have bought various books, DVDs, and other such learining materials and after a year of play I can say I am a winning player. I think that as long as you have patience, the basic fundamentals of the game and willingnes to learn; you will be
ok!
The great thing is anyone can play anytime for free and from home – online! I started with money accounts, and looking back wish I had played more practice or play money games until I was confident that I could make money. Everyone is different however, I am one to learn better from mistakes that cost me rather than by just repeating them a few times.
