learn swing dancing

My friend started a swing club and i’m no expert but i have a basic understanding of it after a couple weeks and it’s fantastic, i’m in love with it!

Some swing dance clubs i hear teach you moves before they open for the evening for a small fee. I’ve never done it but i heard it works out pretty well.

I wouldn’t have done it if I hadn’t paid for the class ahead of time (because it kept me from escaping), but I’ve finally learned how to dance, and I’m having a marvelous time.

Finding good teachers helps—I’ve tried this before without actually learning anything. If the teachers have a sense of humor, the students don’t feel like they have to take the steps so seriously, and getting physically close to others feels less awkward.

I’m living proof that even shy people can learn to step out in style.

Find a partner THEN learn swing dancing!

I haven’t in a long time, but I learned the basic steps from my Mom. It’s great fun.

So much fun! Especialy spinning super fast.

Not the greatest way to meet people, as I would’ve thought, but still, it was lots of fun and a great way to brush up on those non-verbal communication skills!

ive learned a few swing dancing moves in music class, but i wanna be good at it like the people who can throw each other in the air and stuff…that would be aweesome
