I hope to release the first issue for Winter.
I think it will be a quarterly/seasonal thing. Then i will not be under lots of pressure and can just enjoy the process of it.
If anyone wants a free copy… send me address by message.
more developments later…

Good resources list to consult later
for myself & anyone else who finds it useful:

Very funny, quick “article” to remind me not to take myself (or any zine) too seriously:

I started making zines back in high school in the early 90s and then for a couple years after. Just a weird kid in suburbia with this fantastic outlet i shared to a few immediate friends and a few dozen strangers around the country.
What i loved most was the process of assemblage. Figuring out how to get really neat effects like white pencil on xerox and using sheets of tracing paper while copying to make images selectively opaque.
Several years later, in college, i discovered that you could make money with an interest like this. “They” called it Graphic Design.
And so, roughly 15 years later I have been a graphic designer for close to 10 years and am thoroughly bored.
Plan on taking my weird skills/talent into another field, but first, would like to start a zine again to revisit what i fell in love with in the first place!

I think I’ve written/been a part of producing six or so zines in the past five years, and I’ve realized that almost nothing makes me happier. This past summer I basically lost all of my creativity and could not put together a new one.
I want to make a new zine this year. I think that would really help me out.
