If you´re really worked up, it´s hard to tell what´s really a ghost and what is just you freaking out! lol!

I’ve very ambivalent about ghosts. I know if I saw one, I’d poo myself. Thankfully, I’ve had no chance to see a ghost.
Here a ghost story that has involve me, the only one I know of.
My aunt is a stickler for clean and me and my sister would visit her during the summer. She was the odd aunt, the one with unusual furnishing, a house full of rare finds. Well, we always thought if very strange there was this odor on the stairs. I vividly remember my sister and I running up the stairs because it smelled halfway up. I freakin’ leaped up the stairs so as not to hit that spot.
My aunt sold that place and she told us a story once when she was at the bank. A guy there saw her address and said to her, ‘so, you live there. My father built that house. Ever notice anything there?’ No she says, why?
Turns out some guy was murdered on the stairs of that house. I remember tellin my other aunts and uncles about that story. Only some of them ever thought the stairs smelled, in all, there were four of us and we all remember that distinctive smell. Never have I smelled anything like and will remember that until I’m dead.
I mention this because they say ghosts are not always visual. Sometimes, only some people pick up on them and it can be through visuals, odors, sounds, or something else.
Picked up some info at the local information center today. Looks like Fun

We went tonight to St Helena Island – The Alcatraz of Australia (i have been to ALcatraz, that place was much more exciting).
The tour was really interesting, with actors telling stories about the place, however it wasn’t really scary, the place was more of a few rundown buildings (150yrs old though) around. The cementry was kinda gloomy. Three rows of about 15 cement crosses, all identical, except for the prisners number.
Over all it was very interesting, not scary, don’t know if i would recommend it to anyone as I think the Island would be worth going during the day so you can properly see all the ruins. The atmosphere wasn’t scary at all, they did say that two ghosts have been spotted there, but it just didn’t feel like it to me at all.
If you want Ghost tours i do think that the UK is the place to go. I have loved every ghost tour i went on in the UK, especially the one i did in Scotland. I also did another ghost tour in Canada that was really awesome as well. I cannot wait to go back to the UK and take a ghost tour in every city!!
At least i can cross this goal off as i went on a ghost hunt (however non scary) and it was in Australia!

We went on a ghost hunt at the Alamo in San Antonio. I didn’t see any ghost, but it was still a bunch fun. Our guide gave us a lot of history, the good interesting stuff you don’t get on real tours. The kids got to use some heat sensors and different gadgets. I thought it was more fun that Sea World.

Okay we finely made the decision to go on the ghost tour on the 3rd of Novemeber. Once the decision was made i actually rang up and booked so noone could change their mind! So the four of us, Tishan, Pete, Maarit and I are heading to St Helena’s Island to visit the old goal. Cannot wait!!! This is going to be awesome!
This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I am such a big chicken when it comes to things like this, but what better way to really feel alive again than to be scared. You can never truly live as long as you fear dying. Several of us are thinking of going to the Waverly Hills Tuberculosis Sanatorium in Lousiville, Ky. this coming Spring. We haven’t figured out how we are going to get in or anything…but thats no biggie. After all, rules are meant to be broken. I know my chicken (bock bock) hubby will never go. It will be more fun with friends anyways. It would be hard to still view him as my hero after I had to listen to him crying like a girl cause he was scared. lol

Okay i think we all have agreed that now we are going to go on this tour on the 13th Oct!!! We are going to St Helena’s Island know as (and i use this term very loosly) The Alcatraz of Australia. Its a boat tour with dinner out to the Island, then a walking tour around the old prison and then back to the mainland. Seems pretty awesome… We are thinking of watching some scary movies before we go out and then maybe stopping at a few of the know haunted places as well just to get us all in the mood. Should be an awesome night, let me know if you want to join in!!!
Callie is rocking.
I’m hoping to put together a ghost hunt before classes start again… should be a good time!!
