I’m fasting today!
How I did it: I started two days in advance f the actual fast by eating only raw fruit and vegetables. This helps reduce some of the physical discomfort of the fast but does not take away from its impact. The day of the fast I drank only water and allowed myself two or three cups of hot tea, the tea had one teaspoon of evaporated cane juice in it as sweetener. I am a pig, so 5 mins before midnight I broke my fast to eat delicious food that was still on the stove. I’m not doing this for religious reasons- on the contrary- I am not a believer, but simply want to try fasting. I’m going to do it Thursday :)

It wasn’t so much a fast as I just didn’t eat for 24 hours. My girlfriend pointed out to me at 12PM yesterday that we hadn’t eaten anything since 3PM the day before. We had arranged to go for Sunday lunch at 3 already, so I just waited. I was really hungry though.
The only reason this is down as “worth it” is because it’s something to check off my list. It’s not really something that I feel was worth doing, or not worth doing. I’m indifferent.

Ok so i got pretty busy and finding myself in situations i had to eat but now iv started my fast.
I’ve started with a 5 day preparation period when i just fast but eat VERY small things like fruit juice or things. Tomorrow i have a party soo…Ill keep you posted!
Well, I haven’t had anything since lunch, and the fridge is pretty bare. So I guess the next time I’ll have something to eat is tomorrow at lunch time.
I really want to do this because i think it will give me much more self control and disipline. I know if any of my family members found out about this then they would kill me though! I will have to do it slyly. Does anyone have any tips??
