see more of Europe

I’ve only been to Italy and it was so wonderful. I want to see more, of course I want to see the whole world but it seems easier to narrow my focus. I’ve been very lucky to travel to many countries, but it only leaves me wanting more. When I start working full time it will be easier to afford.

Yee-hah!

There’s been some considerable progress on this front!! We recently booked tickets to Amsterdam for a long weekend, Kiev for a wedding, and Cyprus for another wedding, and Dublin as well for a short trip in September. Not too shabby, I’d say!

We’ve also managed to book tickets to see my family in British Columbia and Alaska for 2 weeks, so all the European travel we;re managing this year seems all the more impressive to me at the moment.

Next year, I’d really like to focus even more on Europe – I think I would love a week or two in Scandinavia, camping and whatnot; Chris would rather do the same on the south coast of Spain and France – either one would be awesome to me.
