With what’s left of today (which I mostly spent in bed, as it’s fckn’ Skyrim outside : snow ! snow everywhere !) I’m going to try to
- go to the pool (yes, it’s crazies, with the bad weather and all, but if the pool is warm enough it should still be better than running in the cold)
- do some big shopping
- do some small tidying up
- go to bed not too late 4 months ago
Eight hours at work. Eight hours of sleep. Almost two hours of transit… Where does one find the time to have a life ? 7 months ago
- cash old check
- finally get transportation card 2012 (I finally moved my ass over there yesterday but lacked one of the required documents -blasted administration >_<).
- oh and have lunch ; I’m sick of having my first meal at 8pm everyday (evening jobs ftw !) 11 months ago
- some more house cleaning
- laundry
- work 14 months ago
bought toilet papah and took a photo cuz f$*! it, why not. 14 months ago

- play some Skyrim because I think I deserve to (but not too much) 16 months ago

- and more 16 months ago
- be at work on time (did it)
- come by my parents’ house (didn’t but I did call from work to check whether they were back from their vacation and it turns out they’ve been back since yesterday morning, had I known, I would have spent New Year’s Eve with them rather than alone) 16 months ago
- get that cable (this time for reals)
- be at work one hour early (exceptional schedule)
- be with people I appreciate for New Year’s eve
- get kissed ?16 months ago
- find the cable for my phone or get a new one
- be on time at work 16 months ago
- be super on time for work
- get some cleaning done
- maybe check out underground and second hand store to see if they have the kind of shoes I’m looking for, otherwise I’ll order from the internet and prepare to be disappointed about the size 16 months ago
- clean up the house some more
- check out how to get to the medical visit not to arrive late
- err, still have the shoes to get but I already don’t feel like doing this tomorrow so maybe I shouldn’t overestimate myself there :) 16 months ago
- buy presents at least for my brother and his girlfriend (can’t wait for pay-day, I’m freaking out a bit, not sure where I am money-wise, I’ve never been a big spender but my daily dinner break in the Tower’s costy neighbourhood must have drained some of my “wealth” ; hopefully, being paid double on xmas + new year should make up for that).
- clean up house some
- choose freaking shoes/boots
- come by the house when it’s worker-free to do my laundry and stuff.
Update tomorrow… 16 months ago
I notice I’ve been documenting my days retroactively, which shouldn’t be the point of that goal. I should plan my days in advance (*sigh).
Let’s not start cocky, tomorrow, I intend to :
- be up at 9
- sort clothes (10 min)
- separate my brother’s utensils from mine (10 min)
- stop by the house and eat something ; bring bro’s utensils over there (30 min)
- take appointment with bulky waste service (2 min)
- call university to see how I can get a physical copy of my diploma (preferably fireproof) > 10 minutes (those creeps can make you wait) ?
- see if I can pass TOEIC and/or TOEFL any time soon and book a date at last (1 hour)
- write a generic CV + a generic cover letter (2 hours ?)
- ask X on a date ?
I somehow expect long moments of staring-at-the-walls in between those things but let’s see if I can get half of these things done. I expect the biggest obstacles to be :
- fatigue
- noise from the construction site next to my appartment
- hunger and the indecision that comes with it (go shopping ? buy take-out food ? stop by the house ? wait and starve ?)
- temptations (internet, guitar, naps, going fetal and weeping…)
Okay, one last e-mail check and I’m off to bed (I went early too yesterday but I woke up a couple of hours later and spent all night walking in circles basically :s) ! 20 months ago
