I can do anything I put my mind to, but I am lost in the confusion of surviving. Of paying the bills, and working too much to really be able to have time and mind focused on creating my dreams.
I want to remedy this and don’t know how for sure, but do know that more money in less time would be a great key and start for this is a huge problem. I work 70 – 80 hours a week and then I am too tired and exhausted to keep up the house, and am constantly taking care of my daughter who wants all my time and attention when not at work.
I have no plan for creating this yet, but starting with it is a great goal!!

I’m not wishing for money, but I’m wanting to figure how to make money. I want to make 100000 dollars this year, but how?

With the new job offer yesterday I will be at salary of $85,000. With bonus the total is $110,000. But the object of this is not to include bonus. For now, I will set this goal…to reach $100,000 (via full and part time positions) by December 2009.

Got a small raise. This industry is suffering. I am still looking for a job (more likely for a large jump in salary).

I currently make 70K. It does not feel that way because my net pay is the same as when I made 44K. Why? Because each time a received a raise I raised the percentage I placed in my 401K, Roth 401K, employee stock and flexible benefit plans.
I am currently in the job market (I am now trying to improve my interview skills) and hoping to get to 80K at the new potential position.
I want to get to 100K at the age of 35. I am now 30. It may be doable.

When you surpass $100K and $200K a year, do not simply adjust your standard of living upwards or it won’t do much for you except buy a bunch of crap. Instead, SAVE a good portion of your money, max out your 401(k), etc. or else you will become a slave to whatever job or business that is producing the income.

You can make a $1,000,000 a year, and there’s still little point to it. I’ve drunk $1,000 bottles of wine in some of the best restaurants, and still the $10 bottle I had with friends sitting on Manly beach watching the sun go down was among the best I’ve had.
Nothing wrong with $100,000+ per year, but it’s not much of a goal in and of itself. It’s what you do with what you have.
The main reason this is a good goal, is that if someone told me this before I’d experienced it for myself, I wouldn’t have believed them. Experience is probably the best way to judge.
