become a burlesque dancer

i began taking classes a couple weeks ago and its awesome. i’m going to my first show tomorrow night and i’m stoked. i’ve started talking to people and trying to find out where a rookie can get started so we’ll see what happens next!

I’d really like to get into burlesque dancing, but I can’t find a troupe anywhere near me….Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Anyone with info, I’d really appreciate it!

I love to dance and have been dancing for many years. I have been interested in burlesque for a long time only I couldn’t find anywhere to learn more about it. recently I found a dance troupe that does burlesque. I need to go up and talk to them and see what happens but since one of the girls is a friend of mine, I don’t think that will be a problem…..looking forward to learning more!

I auditioned to be in a burlesque troupe. I got it! Stoked.

it just takes too much investment and i have other things that need my attention. on the plus side i did get to see some great shows!

I have been inturested in burlesque dancing for a little under 2 years.The wierd thing is that im only 14 so its impossible for me to get involved with this.I wish i could pursue this further and get a job doing this. It would really help my lack of selfconfidence.Stupid suckass age!

Burlesque dancing will always be the one thing I will regret never doing. I have other goals and aspirations I know I will strive for and accomplish, but I am extremely passionate about putting on a burlesque show. It is almost a forbidden fantasy of mine, so I feel I have do it to prove it to myself that I can. I just need to work on my confidence and actually do it…
