Paper Airplane Good lord, I love Ed Norton.

I've done this twice actually 5 months ago

    2001 and 2006.

    Highly recommended.

My favorite moment occurred in while I was spending New Year’s Eve 2006 there with friends and a few hard-core religious folks. People were throwing down beads and dancing… and a dude was dressed as a nun, peeing over the side of a balcony. Ha.

    Good times, good times…

muffcity can't keep up with all i've really done so far...

not what you'd expect 16 months ago

full of strip clubs and noisy bars.
try some of the other places in the Quarter, or Frenchman’s Street area instead.

    Hustlers, lol 18 months ago

Went after the hurricane. I can’t say about before, but after it is plenty great. Don’t go if you are bothered by sex-type clubs, though, since they’re everywhere. It is entertaining they way they try to yank you in, tho.

I am told its not like it used to be by previous locals. I enjoyed myself, but it was very risky’, probally not for you conservitive types. I went before the hurricane.

It’ll never be the same…so many of the characters have left the city for good. :( But it’s still worth it!

But What's It Like Now? 3 years ago

Bourbon Street offers a lot of seedy, drunken fun. It’s very touristy, though – it’s not the real New Orleans. It’s definitely worth doing, at least once. Don’t be shy, though.
