yogamom07 training for a 10K
I am participating in the Jewish run this Thursday evening. I’m not jewish; however, my sister-in-law is so I will be running for her and her family :)
I also signed up for an NFL kickoff 5K run for August 15th. I am a little nervous about this one because my sister-in-laws sister does a lot of running and she knows how much I run. She said a while back that her first 5K was around 26 minutes. That rocks. I am no where near this. I will be luck if I get under 35. I believe I have ran around 33. My first lap is around 10 minutes but then my 2nd and 3rd lap are around 11. This particular run I told my brother about it so we could do something together and now his wife, her sister, and her friend are now running. I’m just a little nervous on how it’s going to go. Especially since we live about an hour away. Do we just drive over in the morning? Do we just stay with my brother? Do we get a hotel?
I will be signing up for a 5K race in the beg. of September and then September 26th I have the Mt. Everest 5K challenge. I haven’t decided if I am going to sign up for the 10K taste for challenge race. I have to find another 5K to meet my 5K goal.
