"LONG!"

How I did it: My husband our friend and 2 kids drove to CA. We were on a time limit. So that part sucked. But it is something we are doing again. This time no time limits and we plan on stopping to have the true road trip fun.  

Lessons & tips: Be sure you have plenty of sleep and you really enjoy the company your with.

How I did it: I started in Dallas, TX at 7:30 AM, with plenty of Starbucks and my entire car packed with all of my possessions. Except I left my Star Wars DVD in my mom's DVD player. And I drove through Fort Worth, El Paso, and stopped in Winslow, AZ the first day.The second day I made it all the way to Los Angeles in eight and a half hours. Even in San Diego traffic.
