after much insanity, i decided, somewhat spontaneously, that i would spend a night in a hotel (that’s five blocks away from my house) by myself…and am doing it, as i type! i’m loving it, was much anticipating it—but am a little surprised by the feelings of guilt i’m having, and of missing my family, even though they’re nearby and i’m going to see them tomorrow! but i think this should be some sort of regular practice, maybe once every 4 months. it’s quite relaxing… 6 years ago
