and what if you don't... 3 years ago

What happens if you don’t accept your past and move on? Weigh the options of that and make a decision. I would suggest moving on. Seek forgiveness for anything that deserves it, repent to Jesus and then move forward. There are only 2 directions to go, up or down. Where do you want to be? Forgive yourself once you ask for forgiveness. And if you have to remind yourself to keep moving forward that’s ok, we all have to do that from time to time. Accepting your past does not mean that you agree with it…but there is no way to change it at this point. Forgive, learn, grow and move on. It is not easy…but thank God we have Jesus who came to save us from our sins…He came to take our pains. He can help us with anything if we ask.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life.
I know it sounds cliche, but it’s the plain simple truth.

Stitches of Guilt 4 years ago

I started knitting again. I learned when I was 8. I don’t think I’ve ever finished a project I’ve ever started (it’s on my list).

So I’m on row 40ish with 30 stitches a row. That’s 120 stitches so far. And I was thinking, each one of these and future stitches could be something from my past and I can just put it into the stitch and keep going.

I’m doing that now. Wonder if anyone has knitted a scarf that could wrap around the world? This one might!
