Unless you can count Dr. Seuss books, there is no way I can get through 2 more books in a week.
So on to 2006 and maybe I can do better in the new Year!

I am really enjoying this book. I explains why Men are the way they are (wild) and that it’s ok to be our natural selves. We don’t have to strive to be the “nice guy”, and confirms what we already know – Women want the dangerous and adventuresome man, not the Nice Guy.
It’s a really good book. After this – 2 more to go for my 4 books before the end of the year.
OK – I finished 13 Fatal errors Managers Make today. Finally. It was kinda dry reading, and it’s kinda an older book. But I did learn from it, so that’s good.
Next up – John Eldredge’s “Wild at Heart”. had it laying around – so I’ll start it today.
I’m starting “13 Fatal Errors Managers manke and how you can avoid them” by W. Steven Brown. It’ll be book #1 of 4 that I need to read before December 31st! I’m not a huge fan of reading, but it’s one of those things I know is good for me and it’ll help me in the long run too. I think it’ll also be a good example to my kids, that reading is fundamental! Always wanted to say that!
I bought two books to finish this in November. I forget what they are right now – but one is a John Grisham novel and one is a Michael Crichton (Is that the right spelling?). Picked them both up at the Goodwill today.
I’ll start on one tomorrow.
I went to a big Mall book store on Sunday, and had a hard time locating a new book. I read two of Dan Browns books and really like them. But I’m having a hard time finding a book to read now. I want to pick one that I’ll like and finish, not one that I’ll lose interest in quickly.
Any suggestions on how to pick out a good book? I was also looking for a cook book (Emeril) but didn't find that one either.I’ll keep looking.
With Kira being a runner.. reading is tough! But I have managed to read this year:
Tori Amos – piece by piece
Robert Jordan – eye of the world
JK Rowling – harry potter and the half blood prince.
Gabriel Garcia Marquez – One Hundred Years of Solitude.
Best thing? Now I am reading the Da Vinci code, and I still have two months left!!
