I like to live a life that is always on the go or that is always entangled in other people’s lives. I just got out of an almost two year relationship that I tried to piece back together after a summer of being single and going completely hedonistic. My mother continues to tell me that the earlier I learn to enjoy time spent in solitude, the sooner I will be able to feel content or happy. I’m starting to see the reasoning behind it. Now I would just like to practice enjoying my solitude whether it is through studying, meditation, praying, reading books, cooking or listening to good music.
