How to read the Diary of Anne Frank
It made me
grateful and humbled
 "One of the greatest books ever written"
How I did it: I have read this book many times and it never ceases to amaze me. I feel a connection to Anne across cultural, lingual and physical barriers. She had insight beyond her years and lends a specific and touching personal reflection to the history books. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry, and it will make your heart ache for a great life cut short. Lessons & tips: Don't stop with just reading it once. No matter how many times you read it, you will always get something more out of it. |

How I did it: I've wanted to read this book ever since I started the 8th grade, learning more about the holocaust. So When I got the book at the library I just started reading. When I got the book I was around Anne Frank's age at the time. I also had wondered about the things she stated in the text. Its Depressing 
How I did it: I read this book in school. It was really interesting, and thats why i actualy did it. My teacher never actually check to see if we did it, but this was worth actually doing. We mainly read it during school, however, and i really enjoyied the whole thing! Read how I did it…

im only fifteen but still i take a obscene interest in anne.Maybe because she reminds me of myself or the harsh conditions she has encounterd.

... when I was 13. I often reread it and her ‘Tales from the Secret Annexe’.
I feel sure she could have been a great writer if she had lived.

I really reccommend this book, it paints such a haunting picture of what many suffered through the eyes of such an innocent young girl. It is very upsetting at times, and I cried after finishing it. I think everyone should read this book. :)

Definatly give this book a shot, when your next in need of something to read head down 2 ur libary they WILL have a copy, and if its on issue reserve it :)
