Buy an expensive handbag

I have a Coach, a Luis Vuitton, and a Chanel. My Coach is kind of falling apart though, I need a new one. :P

LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

So I finally got myself a designer handbag!! This is the first one that I have ever owned that is not second hand. It’s Marc by Marc Jacobs, and actually is a diaper bag, LOL! I love the size because I can carry my laptop in there when I travel, eliminating having to haul a laptop bag AND a purse. Also the large pockets for bottles are perfect for toting waterbottles, and the nylon lining wipes clean. I cannot wait for it to arrive. Yay!

Eh, you know, it really doesn’t matter much to me anymore. I admit I can still be a little bit of a brand whore, and you often really do get what you pay for, but who cares how much I spend on a bag as long as I like it and it’s not a total piece of crap?

I was in Nordstroms yesterday purusing the handbags. This Nordstroms was super upscale and had Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and Louis Vuitton boutiques within the store. I saw a Dolce & Gabbana bag I liked- $1099.00. They also had some cute more moderately priced bags, like Cole Hann for around 600. I could purchase one now, but would feel guitly taking money out of my savings, especially before I purchase my new computer. So I thought I would like to start saving up a little fund for a bag, so I won’t feel guitly when I spend it, as that is what I have been saving it for. I’d love to treat myself. I better choose something classic though…for over 1000 dollars, it better go with every outfit!

I don’t care if people think it’s shallow, but this is just something I want to do- probably not something too expensive though. I nice-sized Coach or Betsey Johnson, or something smaller from a more expensive line.
