I’ve been an Administrative Assistant for almost 30 years now, and I’m tired of it. I want a job either doing something different or doing the same thing in a different environment. I’m tired of working for people who expect me to do the work of 2 people. I don’t like having to answer phones for other people’s calls. I like to work with other people sometimes and on my own sometimes. I’d like to find a job doing something artsy that pays well. Maybe I’d like several part-time jobs doing different things I enjoy. I’d like to go outdoors more as part of my job.
I got a job as a sub editor for two videogames magazines – it’s so great that I can go to work everyday knowing that I’m furthering my career. Woo!

My job is restoring this old house. It will take about another month to create a liveable space, and then from there we will have to take it one room at a time.
For the rest of the equation… see “Start my own business”!!!

Job-hunting is challenging in our situation. Finding something that fits, as opposed to just a job that will pay the bills will be an obsticle in which we need to carefully examine. A job will suffice the short term, but a well-suited career will push you through life’s journey, leading you to one’s imprint. My career decisions have ultimately lead me to where I am today… I work, therefore I am…
Well, I’ve got a job now. However, I’m not sure how much I enjoy it. I’ll keep you updated, though. I’ve only been there a week, so maybe I’ll learn to love it.
