So let’s say that you are going to use it only 30 minutes / day. And this will be 15 minutes when you get back from work and 15 minutes before going to bed.
How I did it: I decided to use it only 30 minutes / day (2 x 15). So I just kept it turned off, when I was not using it, and when I would have my 15 minutes I would set my alarm clock and I would write down all the things that I could do if NOT infront of my computer.
This worked great for me.

My goal is to limit my computer usage to one hour per day, and only check my facebook once per week. Right now I probably use it between 2 or 3 hours per day, so this will be a big change if I actually go through with it. I really want to devote more time to things like art, music, reading, and outdoor activities.
We were lacking in the availability of resources without computers/internet, but now we’ve become slaves to our computers. At least for me, it’s like an addiction that’s impossible to get rid of.
So starting tomorrow Im going to not use myspace/facebook for a week. I check it several times a day, and quite frankly i dont want to waste any more time on it.
Cheers to free time!
like alot of the other people pn this list, the only reason i have been sortof acheiving this.
is because i have been working so much and havent had as many opertunitys to actually go onto the computer.
its sortof a toss up to weather its worth it.
im getting alot done
but at the same time i don’t have much time to hang out with friends and feel out of the loop.
but i just got a cellphone.
so that should help.
Becoming homeless has surely helped a lot with achieving this! :]
Library computers cost money sometimes, I use the computer (maybe) once a week.
I don’t have regular net access where I live now and I’m too poor to pay for it – that’s why I’ve been forced to use the computer less. But I don’t think my heart was really in this one. I think I’ve come to accept the fact that the computer/internet is my third arm/eye/ear. I feel like I can do so much less without it. I guess what I’m saying is, please, turn me into a cyborg.
I spend so much time on the computer that I don’t have time for anything else:/ I’m getting really worried about myself – still wasting my time… I won’t live forever…
I’ve been bored with the computer recently. This may stem from being bed ridden (total bad spelling) and having an acute desire to be out of the house. I think that the intense headache also helped. The seperation was a positive one though since I realized that life can go on away from the computer screen.
