How to inspire someone else by macaniff

"We are all capable of this"

How I did it: I think it is a good idea to try to inspire someone else everyday.  I just think that it is more fulfilling to have your attention on other people.   My younger cousin was thinking about not going to college.  She had an opportunity to go away to school and was instead going to stay home.  I sat down with her and had a real strait converation about her live and the importance of taking advantage of the gifts you are given. She chose to go away to school and is now the only person in her family with a college education.  

Lessons & tips: Listen to people and to what they care about.  Go out of your way to appreciate people for the things that they are passionate about.

    BEfore I die I want to know of at least one person that I have inspired…this is my goal. I would like to inspire at min 2 people a year. I’ve learned to keep your goal min because I tend to over due it and never reach that goal. So hopefully this works out!!

    I think i’ve done this already in some aspects. it’s flattering to hear someone tell you you’re “one of the coolest people” they know… also humbling. i want someone to look up to me though, and think “i want to do what sarah did.”
