do something fun every day

talked to a good friend and made plans. hung out at the coffee shop and read, wrote, did some logic puzzles. decluttered a bag of stuff from my place.

had a nice talk with mom. got a nice letter from my sister with a bunch of details about her life i didn’t know. ate 2 organic corn on the cobs!

got a Tarot reading at Starbuck’s today, on the spur of the moment. it was fun, i got to speak some french, and it motivated me somehow.

went to the community centre to register for a class. even though it was CLOSED! it was a nice trip and i had a nice day outside in the sun. came home and decluttered my storage room by 3 or 4 bags of stuff. also preparing to make an inspirational collage – a productive and fun day!

went to the beach and broke in my new light portable outdoor chairs! a very nice outdoor afternoon with a good friend, simple food and beautiful surroundings. wrote to my grandma from the beach.

such a simple thing brought me joy today. i put on some ginger hand cream i’d forgotten about. now whenever i smell my hands i feel happy!

also started a collage to inspire me for the coming year. cut out images and words from a magazine. i’ll keep doing this then eventually build the collage, maybe a long one in my hallway (if i can get the hallway decluttered!)

looking forward to my acupuncture appointment this afternoon, i haven’t been in a while. and going to go to my favourite soup place for lunch. i should make this a regular friday routine, if i can afford it.

practice guitar, rode the new transit line, went out for a bite and a beer with a dear friend

had my first guitar lesson, tidied up my apt (yes, this actually turned out to be fun!), reading confessions of a shopaholic, made cheesey macaroni

checked out an art studio place, more reading at the coffee shop, nice chat with m, cooked an (almost) balanced dinner

had a good catch up chat with mom, some nice reading time in the coffee shop, more playtime with iphone
