Admit that you were wrong (or at least irresponsible) apologize to the librarian and pay your fine. If the fine is some HUGE amount, make arrangements to pay it off. The library is for everyone, and unless you were publicly burning the book(s) you lost, generally you’ll be welcome back.
You can do it!

Yes. That’s apparently what I owe Buswell Memorial Library.

I think that number may go down slightly when I return those two music scores I forgot I still have. Somehow music that does not belong to me manages to disappear in the stacks of scores that are actually mine.
I also have a CD I need to find and return.
Once this is done, I can pay whatever is left and rejoin. I really just feel bad about having such a huge fine. What a criminal I am!
I checked a book out of the library yesterday… It felt good to do. I had a 12 dollar fine, and had to buy a new card, but it’s worth it. I’m really happy I did it _
i haven’t for about a year and it started at about $15 dollars so I have no idea what it could be now. I owe my school library money too. >>‘
Bri is making all the pieces fit.
I paid them off and I’m finally allowed to get books again… The crazy thing is now I’m afraid to check-out books because I know I’ll keep ‘em all semester.
Manaia is going to study
Cost me $80, ouch.
I’m almost too scared to get books out now, since my life is so disorganised and I know I’ll just get more fines!
And I am back in. Got the kids signed up for a card too. We will try to get back to our once a week library night!
i went yesterday. i got a new card ($1.00) and paid my INSANE fine ($48.95) so… after a mere 50 dollars, i have access to the library again. oh how i’ve missed my books!
still trying to find one of my books so i don’t have to pay for it.. i might just have to pay for it…
ok, new to be completed by date: August 17, 2005.
this time i’ll really stick to it.
