As my birthday pressie (last year + this year!) my SO is buying me a bike! We’ve been to the bike shop and like the Specialized Globe Sport – I have to go back for a test ride, hopefully it will be a good fit for me
my otherhalf promised to buy me a bike for my birthday but that was months ago! Next action: visit some bikeshops and draw up a short list
Ok,it’s not brand new but it is MY bike!and I’ve rode to work the past couple of days,I’ve felt free for a while! it’s such a great feeling seeing all the green fields and the little boats on the waters edge,i can even smell the salt in the water.I’m not half dead when I get there either if anything i’m more energetic. And i brought a shiney bell. I LOVE MY BIKE!!! This goal is completed.
What a stroke of luck! Mentioned at work I was after a bike and Rose said she’d got one, been in her shed for two years only used twice green and blue and it’s even got a comfy seat for your bum!Cheap as chips she’s selling it for so i’m off to look at it after work.Might be my first goal completed hey
I’m starting to think this is a necessity now I’m working. And it would tone me up (also necessary) I can remember riding my bike as a little girl, the wind blowing through my hair and how free I felt for a while. But I’m not a little girl anymore and the question is would I actually be able to work once I rode there or would it half kill me…
After looking all over downtown for a vintage bike, I ran into my friend Christian who told me she would sell me hers for $20. It’s absolutely gorgeous… shiny blue with fenders and everything. The only thing to dislike about it is that it is a tad short for me, but for the time being it’ll be a good bike. It even has stars on the thing that the gears go on.
I got a women’s Trek 100 and can’t wait to start riding to work…2 miles. This will go right along side quitting smoking so I can get all healthy and stuff. I don’t drive anyway so this will save me bus money and smokes money…thats $7 a day. Yay!
An aquaintance of a friend of a friend is selling her bike. It’s a Dawes Audax, cost £800 last year, she’s selling it for £400. Can’t really afford it but it’s such a bargain I’d really kick myself for not going for it. The big question is, will it fit me? Here’s hoping …
