How I did it: well, very unprofessionel. I will see how it turned out this afternoon when the sun comes around and shines through the windows... This has been bothering me for months. Everytime I cleaned my appartment I always thought about doing it but it was just to much work. and so I just lived with the nagging feeling that they became dirtier and dirtier. This last month however, the sun has been out a lot and I just couldn't stand it anymore!

How I did it: I live in 7th floor, there are not a lot of other big buildings around so all the dust that comes from the streets get stucked on my window. How I did it: my windows were long overdue a good clean and today i finally got down to doing it. i put on an audiobook to pass the time (i have bay windows) and got an old toothbrush, vest (for wiping) and a bucket of hot soapy water. i scrubbed the gunk off with lots of water and the toothbrush then wiped it away with the vest/rag, and repeated! I cleaned the upstairs windows last week. They were disgusting, i was ashamed. The downstairs windows are on my to do list.
My favorite day is the day the windows are all clean. The view to the outside looks crystal clear. It is like you can reach out and touch nature. Of course, the next day they start looking crappy again, but, for that one day…
