join an amateur dramatics group

I joined an am dram group a couple of years ago. I was in a few things the first season and after a year out I’m involved with my 3rd play this season which is a lead role. V demanding on time and one’s resources but with 2 weeks to go til curtain-up I know the 10 night run will be an immensely rewarding experience.

I have been doing Amateur Dramatics for many years now. It’s an excellent way to make friends and share your talent. www.amdram.co.uk is an excellent way to find a society in your local area. I currently belong to Eldorado Musical Productions which is rehearsals for “Godspell” in May at the Bob Hope Theatre Eltham

I told my singing teacher I was learning to sing so I could join the amateur dramatics group near to me, and she has their website now, so I have a feeling when they’re next autioning, she’ll be getting me prepped and hopefully giving me a nudge in the right direction!
