go to the big chill festival

wellll me and my 2 friends are planning to goo, sooo fingers crossed my besty ben is defffooo coming as his mum is lending him the money and he is suppperr keen, but the other two don’t know :S one has a reaally strict mum and the other is a bit blase about everything but im hoping we can get them on the wagon. yayay.

Big chill off for me this year till had surgery. Gutted, but no way id be able to walk round it. With the non-stop rain predicted all summer id probably make a tit of myself by falling over and slipping round in mud anyway, so saving embarrassment all round.

got tickets through for cornbury festival in a couple of weeks, only going for 1 day, as training for big chill(3 days). If all goes well might be able to book tickets for big chill.

The lovely people who i’m meant to be going with are currently in Brazil. When they booked the original return flights they didn’t realise they were gonna be flying back on the weekend of the Big Chill. When they did realise they promised they’d change their flights so they could come. Last week they finally got round to doing it…... only they have would have to pay a small charge of £100ish pounds to change the flights but that because the flight they now wanted was full they’d have to upgrade and that would cost £1300 each. Suffice to say they are not coming and I was just a little bummed out.

that second job this ain’t gonna happen. Get on it Cuba!

to friends about this. Should be loads of us going. Never been to Big Chill but I love the festival vibe and music and friends. Looking forward to it.

Went to my first Big Chill this year (2005), it was great.
Didn’t care who I saw, just roamed around the entire time seeing various crazy sights.
My favourite things were the big nests made from straw, the arts trail, the ducks, the circus tent and Hug 20 (a game where you have to hug 20 festival stereotypes).
