Bee SageFinished up maintenance class

Just finished a maintenance class. Now I know how to fix pretty much everything on my bike. At least until I forget.

Now I need to start slowly accumulating tools. And asking friends to borrow theirs in the meantime when I need fixes. I did buy a small bike bag with emergency tire and chain repair tools in it. We’ll work up from there. Time to start filling out a Christmas list.

And muscles. I had to cede control of the tools several times after my weak little arms couldn’t get something loose. MOAR PUSHUPS! 9 months ago

Bee SageFirst part done

I now own a bicycle! We bought it at a warehouse, so it’s a used Trek hybrid from 2002, one of the last years they made that class of bike with steel. It has a really narrow frame and shocks IN THE SEAT! Not the shiniest bike ever made, but it’s a solid, smooth ride and should last me a long time!

Now I just need the temperature outside to go below 100F so I can ride without overheating. 22 months ago
