keep in touch with (and visit) my extended family

my gran has had a stroke and had to go into a care home, 100s of miles away so we can’t visit often and her speech is impaired so she can’t talk on the phone. So I am resolving to send her something (eg a note, a card, a small gift, a knitted something) at least once a month. And I am going to get 43tings to remind me

I saw my gran last year (visited on our way to holidays). Next action: talk to my mum about doing a trip together later this year

plus I love my cousins

next weekend is my parents’ 40th wedding anniv, plenty of family to talk to there

I was on a course about 50 miles away, so when it finished I took the train and spent some time, staying with my uncle and visiting my gran. I’ll be seeing my uncle again in September (my parents are having a family party for their wedding anniversary) then I’m thinking of planning another visit to my uncle and gran with my mum, later in the year
