start playing the 'cello again

I started playing when I was 6 years old, stopped playing at the end of high school, which was about 4 years ago now. I need a new set of strings and figure out how to stop my pegs from slipping.

I started playing 11 years ago when i was seven and kinda stopped playing 2 years ago. I need to buy a new one (500 pounds …buts its a really nice boosey and hawkes one…) and i dont even have that many grades to go…i really want to master this..cause it’ll be the only thing that ive really wanted to stick to

OK. I’ve been to my Mum’s, picked up my ‘cello . . . and have discovered I need a new set of strings and some new rosin. Off to the music shop for me!

I’d forgotten how heavy it is. I have red weals on my shoulder from carrying it around again.
