I suppose listening to the radio online is ok, but it means I always have to switch my laptop and speakers on.. So, time to invest in a radio methinks!
I’m a radio junkie – so I shopped around. The radio plays constantly in my kitchen, so a good table radio is justified. I’d encourage anyone – especially parents – to ditch their TV’s and listen to radio. I don’t have any allegiance to the company – I don’t own stock or anything like that.
This is a cool radio. I like the big analog tuning dial and real wood cabinet. I listened to the Tivoli Pal in a store and the sound was amazing for such a tiny unit. I tried three Target stores and ended up buying online, direct from the Tivoli website. I chose the black and silver model.
I’ll take it home and see how well it picks up NPR in Ann Arbor (40 miles away). Right now I’ve got my Ipod connected to it – but can’t crank it up here at work… rats! Maybe later.
