feel comfortable with silence

I can’t stand silence in social situations, but most of the conversation I try to create in its place is pointless and irritating to some of my more intraverted Family and Friends.
My ramblings cheapen my genuine comments and my sincere words.

I always have to say something, and if I don’t, I feel uncomfortable! I want to enjoy the silence!
