In a nutshell…
New building, fire inspectors, lights off in all bathrooms all day long, no chance to brush teeth.
Lame and yuck!
The question in my mind is why didn’t the inspect this building over the long, Thanksgiving Day weekend?

Flossing is fun

I had always tied flossing to my toothbrushing routine, but a hygienist told me to put a floss package next to my TV viewing chair and just floss whenever I wanted to, but at least twice a day. I did this, and guess what? Now I carry floss in my purse and floss about three to five times a day, without brushing all that much. She explained that this will help enormously to keeping my teeth in my head all my life.
My gums are beautiful and I still have all my teeth at 52, and intend to present a gorgeous smile to the undertaker.

Brush After Every Meal

For decades we’ve been told to brush after every meal. I’ve always been super good about brushing before I leave in the AM and before I go to bed at night.
For the past 6-8 years I’ve ocsassionaly brushed after lunch but never consistently. When I started this new job I made a committment to brush after lunch.
On Saturday I bought a brand new toothbrush and some nice cinnamon toothpaste so now I have no excuses.
I was late to the flossing game even after being told for 20+ years to floss every night. Now I’m paying the price (literally $4,000+) for not doing this.
At this point I really look forward to my nightly dental hygiene routine and I’m always amazed at how much better I feel when I brush, floss and gargle with Lysterine then rinse with anti-cavity Act.
