Yesterday, I went to Cedar Point for the first time in several years and it was OUTSTANDING! They have even more, even better rollercoasters than before. My favorite of the day was definitely the Top Thrill Dragster. But we ended the day with the Magnum and it’s still got it, even if others have outdone it speed- and height-wise. Unfortunately, I’ve also discovered that I’m not as young as I used to be. I actually had to sit out a ride or two near the end of the day and we left half an hour before the park closed. But it was amazing and a great time was had by all. It was nice to hang out with friends that I don’t see often and it was like going back to my early twenties again. Good times.

Got nauseous at the very end of The Raptor and on the Wicked Twister. Apparently my tummy can’t handle those twisty turny rides. I was bummed because I didn’t ride the Mantis or the Maverick because I didn’t feel like puking in front of strangers. :\ I couldn’t ride the Millenium Force because my friend I was with couldn’t fit in the seat…how embarrasing. I really loved the Top Thrill Dragster. The first time I rode it I screamed my head off and I got major goose bumps…definitely a big thrill. I could ride that one every day.

I can’t wait! It’s been over 10 years since I’ve been there. We’re packing a cooler full of food so we don’t have to buy food there. Apparently the food is really expensive. We can run out to the car and I guess there’s picnic tables and/or an eating area in the parking lot.
I went there years ago. I must have been in middle school or almost in high school. must have been middle school? who knows. anyway when I was there the Magnum was the tallest roller coaster, and they’ve added like nine bigger ones since then, so I want to go back. My woobie went to college really close to there, at Oberlin, so we could have a Cedar Point/visiting people trip!
