i have actually won (& or placed) a poker tournament at a casino. not to mention winning many home tournaments. lol ive lost many of those as well.
my objective is to win a satellite tournament that will qualify me for a larger tournament on the road to the world series of poker tournaments

I played my first WSOP event (event 2) last May… it was the largest field for any tournament other than the WSOP Main Events. It was quite the experience. I made it to the second day and ended up getting a little more agressive once I made it into the money… I checked raised all in with a double belly buster straight draw and two overs… dude went in the tank and finally called me with a open ended straight draw and an ace… he caught and I didn’t. Wouldn’t have changed a thing.
My goal is to play more major tournaments (WPT and WSOP circuit events) in 2009 and to hopefully, at least, make a finally table.

Must be a live event, not online. Final table counts, but must win $$$.

I want to play a proper real life poker tournament and actually win it. Would be kinda hard, but practice makes perfect. Ultimately in the Bahamas like James Bond haha! Or in Vegas. Any poker tournament will do really; just have to win too.

Granted, I’ve won several times in my group’s friendly Friday night game (more than anyone else at the table, actually), but I’d like to try a more cutthroat, professional-style game. I know several bars around here that host weekly or semi-weekly tournaments, and I think I might take a shot at the grand prize, as long as the buy-in isn’t too steep.
