keep in touch with friends and relatives

Got most of my Christmas cards out today with the exception of the ones that require a more personal note along with the card. I will work on this tomorrow and hopefully get them into the mail by Monday.

Great day trip to visit my cousin. Drove to her town, had a nice lunch and went out to her place, saw her sheep, dogs, horses high on the hill and her new kitten. Had a great visit. She’s a real sweet-heart. We spend lots of time together when we were young and because of families, work etc. have kind of lost touch, so I am really glad I “took the bull by the horns” and set up a visit. I think there will be many more!!!

Spoke with my oldest friend last week and had a good chat and I am going to see one of my cousins next Monday for a day long visit. I am really excited because I have never seen her house (farm actually) and I am thrilled that we are going to see each other without it being a FUNERAL. Plus I need an adventure and a day trip to a new place fits the bill.
