get into NYU Tisch

This is one of the best schools. Film has become an enormous passion of mine. I have just completed my Junior year in high School, and I am now a Senior. I want to study film at this school. One of my friends who has recently graduation has been accepted to this institution. Everywhere I travel, I visualize the surroundings as a movie scene. Music fills my head, and the whole world is transformed into a movie scene. I am an artist, and I am a film maker. Movie Making is what I should be doing the rest of my life; I know it. I really want to attend this college. It’s not impossible. With hard work, determination, inspiration, and motivation, this dream is not out of reach. I know I can achieve this.

UPDATE 10/23/08 – After getting my SAT scores.. I’ve realized I can’t get in this school. Frankly, I don’t really want to. I’ve settled for The New England Institute of Art, and will later transfer to SCAD.

im a sophmore in high school, and for a long time now i’ve been set on attending this school. i dont just want to go, its more than that because i need this. i need to know that i can do more with my life than what im doing right now. i need to use my potential and believe that people are better than the people i’ve seen. i need to escape from my family and everyone and just focus for once. i need to prove that i’m more than my family’s opinion of me- that i’m an artist and a writer and a photographer and most of all im just a girl who lost sight of the important things in life. a girl that just fell a little of track and made a mistake. i just need to accomplish this and let them all know that they were wrong about me, so i can graduate and never look back.

The wind is on my back and the sun is on my face.I got in.If I could get I hope the best for everyone else.There is nothing like seeing the manifestation of your hopes and dreams on a piece of paper.Congrats to those who have done and Bon Chance to all those who want it.

That wonderful letter reached me on the 3rd of April… and I got accepted..it’s like a dream come true…and trust me, after ll of the mayhem I’ve been through this year, this came to me as a wonderful blessing…for the other two people pursuing this goal: go for it…try it out, do the audition…if you get in it’s like heaven, if you don’t it’s still a rewarding experience…. :D yay!!!
