Depending on the exact definition of useful of course, but I did write a couple of scripts in the past weeks for the Information Retrieval Project. Plus, I wrote a little script that goes through my unread items in BlogLines and mines information from that. That’s at least useful for me :)

I haven’t done much GUI coding with either binding, but I was intrigued when I read these blogentries on how fun (or rather, how relatively boring) it is to code on the GNOME platform these days. I don’t really have an opinion since I haven’t ever made contributions to GNOME, but I’d like to do a comparision coding small GUI apps in PyGTK and C#/Gtk# to see which one feels more natural and blog about my observations. Boo/Gtk# looks interesting too, but I’ll check that out after it’s had more time to mature.
