It was only two years ago that I stopped crying during Christmas Eve. Last two years, I was in my boarding house during Christmas because I hate to be at home. And I made a right decision. Now, I will start by saying that if you want to avoid the loneliness that will kill you during this period, do anything that you think would help you. Maybe you have a friend that you can celebrate Christmas with. Maybe you have a church to go to. Maybe you have a brother or a sister to think of. Maybe you can start wrapping gifts starting today for people who can appreciate you and everything that you give. It’s okay to say no with toxic people. Do anything you can to get away from the unnecessary torture that you will go through this Christmas. AND, best of all, remember Jesus’ love. Make the right choices. Be happy. 18 months ago
