Roadtrip Through The US

in my years of youth, i always wanted to take a roadtrip with me and my kids from seattle to new york city. the big apple. but, my family was always too busy, and we never got around to it. but one day me and my husbad decided to pack our bags and took our kids to new york. it was a blast. and i loved being there with the kids.

When I “graduated” from first grade (Escondido School in Stanford CA), my dad moved us from Stanford to Baltimore, where he had a job at Johns Hopkins University. So the whole family’s possessions, mom, dad, self (6 or 7), and brother (2 years younger) were in this tiny little plymouth valiant for over a week, detouring to national parks, monuments, caves, etc. I didn’t enjoy it then, but probably would much more now!! On top of that, my mom was pregnant w/ my younger brother…!!

I think I would start on the east coast and then driving west.

I guess the problem is that the things I want to see is in all different directions, so it would be a very long and zick-zacky trip…

Ok, this is a goal that will take a long time to fulfil.

i did this a bit rushed, was actually moving. but drove from long beach california to long island new york, coast to coast literally! an awesome trip to do, recommend anyone with a couple weeks time and enough money for the gas and occasional motel room do it!
