I really really really want to get a pixie cut.
And i’ve heard numerous things from numerous people. I have really round cheeks and a square jaw and not a very pointy chin. my mama almost cried when I got a bob, so I hope I don’t kill her with a pixie cut.
I love Shannyn Sossamon’s pixie cut. I think it’d suit my much better, especially since I’d love to style it.
However, in additin to my ridiculous face shap, I also have really curly hair. It’s not like like… small ringlet curly, but my bangs look like an inverted cowlick crossed with a check mark if I don’t straighten them.
What on earth shall I do?

How I did it: I started by researching loads of different styles and printing them off, then took them to the hairdressers and explaing what i wanted . . . . so yeah, just research really, lots of it Read how I did it…
freefloatingsoul is so happy with the shots from John! Oh my! The best I've ever done!
How I did it: I was asked by a photographer if I would consider working with him in exchange for a haircut at his salon. I agreed and went in with no preconceived notions. He wound up cutting it short because of the blonde that's currently growing out. I am sickkkk of having two-colored hair but the style really updated it so I don't mind as much. And he worked with the natural flip and texture of my hair- which was huge for me because it means that I … Read how I did it…
How I did it: Picked out a picture of a pixe cut I liked (Winona Ryder used to have short pixie hair), went to my hairdresser and just watched all of my hair being chopped off. Read how I did it…

i dunno, will it suit me??
if all else fails i own lots of hats!
I’ve been contemplating cutting my hair short for a long time… First I am DEFINITELY getting a nose job before I do it. I have had short hair before but it was really plain… As you can see in my pic my hair is long and it’s even longer in the back. I’m not going to chop it ALL off i was thking more like an Alice Cullen cut or maybe like this pic, a bit more wild not so much a bob
Before you post any comments keep in mind i plan on:
losing more weight so my face will sink in a bit more
and get a nose job….
kookyfred happy happy
i’ve decided that im finally going to take the plunge…sorta.
still not ‘allowed’ to shave it entirely off (though it is on my future to-do list…worlds greatest shave, people)
so im taking the second best option…the Alice Cullen.
yes, for all those mad twilighters like myself, i’ve been told by my friends that it will suit my face & nose shape, as well as being completely awesome and very low maintenance (which is something that i am a big fan of) so if ever in doubt, switch to the alice.
I’ve gotten the pixie cut on and off since Grade 12 (4 years ago)....first starting out with hair past my shoulders and decided on a whim to chop it off and then growing it back out and chopping it off again.
It takes a bit of time to get used to, but seriously….it’s WORTH trying at least once! It’s great…kind of like a weight being lifted off your shoulders and head…not to mention the styling products out there and a plethora of ways you can style your hair :D
Do it just once…if you don’t like it, well, hair grows back :D
I have gone back and forth on this one for quite some time. I am absolutely terrified that I will a) look like a mom, b) look like a boy, and c) make people think I’m playing for the other team. I can’t afford to send out the wrong message. Also, my features…well, let’s just say they aren’t the daintiest…but I still really want to do it!
Of length alllll gone!Short hair fits my personality more. Long hair is elegant but it’s such a pain in the ass.
Well I went into the salon this afternoon and got all of my hair chopped off and it feels so strange, but kinda nice and very liberating.
When I left the wind was blowing outside and I didn’t get anything in my face or need to worry about looking like a scarecrow :p which was good!
This is something I’ve been thinking about doing for a couple of months now and I finally decided, enough was enough and have made an appointment with my hair stylist. I’m petrified it’s gonna look stupid or I’ll look like a boy, but overall I think it’s something I need to do at least once in my life as I’ve always been a long haired girl. It’ll grow back I suppose.
