I’m a pretty good average weight, but i still have about 3kg i’d like to lose, and have more toned body.
I run around the block with my mum everynight, and we worked out in the car that the distance around the block is only 2 kilometres. When i used to work out on the treadmill at the gym, I used to do 5km, so I’m thinking i should start doing 2 laps now.
Still though, I’ve kept my fitness routine up for nearly 3 months now. I think if i keep it up for 6 months i’ll consider this goal completed.

2 weeks and still going strong! though haven’t lost weight because of my naughty eating habits.
i’ve even encouraged my mum to come along with me, and she’s lost weight already!

Due to I have moved to a new place, that is far away from my office, then I need half an hour to ride the bike to work, I was not so used to ride such long time every morning, because I have to extrude more time on the way to work. and now 2 months has passed, I felt so easy to ride my bike to work, even better, I found myself more healthier than before, and more calm inside.

I discovered carrots
everytime I am hungry
first I eat a carrot

and see if I’m still hungry
most of the times I’m not
no need to be stressed and eat when I am not hungry
no need to be stressed at all
working on this
so this is the thing. i quit the gym about 4 months ago and really changed my whole approach to being healthy. i’ve always eaten pretty well but exercise was the missing puzzle piece. the idea of going to the gym would always hang over me and induce pangs of guilt week after week of not going and seeing my bank account be depleted. i did 2 things: 1) i quit the gym. and 2) i got rid of my tv (well, got rid of cable and i have no antenna for local channels). this was huge! i now get up almost every morning and do some kind of yoga in my living room with a teensie bit of meditation at the end. this lasts anywhere between 20 minutes to an hour or so depending on how much time i have. i do a nice walk around my neighborhood. it’s scenic with a lake and is a good 3-4 miles. i do that 3-4 times a week after work or weekends. i swim a couple times a week. i do a few official yoga classes (that kick my butt!) per week. i like running but i have pretty wonky knees…docs told me to cut it out. and in 4 months, i’ve done what i haven’t been able to do in the past 3 years (even with running a half marathon). i’ve lost 15 pounds—almost effortlessly, and my challenge is to continue the momentum of staying fit. i feel so much better. after another 6 months, i’ll mark this goal as done and done!

I am feeling so bad right now, this time I caught cold is due to that I didn’t take good care of myself, I ignored some of good habits, such as drink water after I wake up, drink more water during the daytime, exercise more. And I didn’t keep in good mood sometimes. These are all my faults.
So After this illness, I have to emphasize on these points.

I bruised my heel playing basketball which stopped me from running for a week and a half. I went and got some gel insoles and some voltarin and with the help of both of those I can run again. I ran yesterday and today, its a little frustrating that not only have I lost a little fitness but also I’m less sure of how hard I can push myself so I’m going to have to learn that again, but it feels great to be running again.
Other fitness news is that I’m going to go and swim some laps tomorrow night which I’m really looking forward to, I enjoy swimming but haven’t been for months but dad has access to a gym with lap pool so it works out great.

I’m happy to report I’m still doing really well with this goal. I’m really getting into running now. I started running just a couple of km’s and now I’m running 5km in about 20 minutes and 10km in about 43 minutes which I’m really happy about, even better I’m about to join a local running club to keep me motivated and improving and even bettererererer I’m starting to get a runner’s body, which I never thought i’d get which is also pretty cool. The best things about running has been the beautiful tracks I can run on and the great feeling of exhasting myself and improving over time.
I go to the gym once or twice a week and I do 60 push-ups (and growing…) every morning…Never felt so muscled in my life !
