I spent last weekend in NO with Penny. We had a fabulous time. I have to say Hats off to NOPD Swat Unit (especially Stepen that looks like the guy from Prison Break!!!) In the photograph he is on the second row, last on the right. I don’t remember the other’s names but they were wonderful to Penny and me too.

Penny wants me to come down to her home in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. I have been several times in the past. We have always had fun. I think that it would be historic to go to the first Mardi Gras after Hurricane Katrina. If my schedule will permit, I may go down for a few days. 7 years ago

I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. My first cousin, Penny Toohey, lived and worked in New Orleans. When I had the opportunity I would drive down and spend the weekend with her. I moved back to Kentucky after I graduated and we kind of grew apart for a few years. Since Hurricane Katrina, she has been staying in Kentucky. We have been spending time together again. When mother had the stroke Penny took care of my children so that I could stay in the hospital with mother. We grew up together. I love her very much. It is wonderful being able to talk and hang out together again. I am the one cheezing with the big Hurricane.
