AgneZed25. The Black Cauldron

I wasn’t happy about the plot, it didnt touched me in any emotional or moral/intelectual way. I thought it was pretty complicated and i didnt found that very interesting. Although the second half was way better than first one. 2 months ago

itsasecretI liked Alice

Saludos Amigos was good . Winnie seems more for little kids. He’s in his own world. 3 months ago

danidee2741. Wreck-It Ralph

Apparently now we are up to 52, this film being the latest addition.
This movie took me a while to get into, but in the end I enjoyed it as a feel-good movie. Definitely different, but likable.
The anit-hero protagonist was a cute idea done well. 3 months ago

ClumsyPandaUntitled

Watched Saludos amigos today. It was a bit young for me to tell the truth, but at least it was short! 4 months ago

itsasecretPocahontas was alright

Lady and the Tramp was good. The Aristocrats was so so. It seemed better when i was younger. I might buy some Disney movies. Even if i don’t have kids I like them enough. 5 months ago

itsasecretI'm going to try and watch the older live action

Most of them were good. I might not finish them that quick. I remember Mary Poppins was good. So was Pete’s Magic Dragon 5 months ago

Collectorofcats 23 The Rescuers, 29 The Rescuers Down Under, 37 Tarzan, 21 Robin Hood, 18 The Sword in the Stone, 46 Chicken Little

Thanks to my secret santa, I got the dvds of The Rescuers/The Rescuers Down Under. I do not have a dvd player at this time but my granddaughter and I watched both movies last night on my laptop and she and I found them both delightful.

Also, granddaughter brought a few of her Disney books for me to read to her that she got for Christmas and I realised I had seen the Tarzan, Robin Hood, The Sword In The Stone and Chicken Little movies done by Disney. So I am marking them done as well. 5 months ago

Collectorofcats Sleeping Beauty

Awhile back, I discovered that the full length movie The Lion King had been recorded on Youtube. My granddaughter enjoyed it immensely. This past weekend, we watched Sleeping Beauty which I probably haven’t seen since I was her age. It was very good and just perfect for little princesses. Now, my granddaughter is convinced she has to be a Disney princess every year for Halloween. 6 months ago

AgneZed24. The Fox and the Hound

I liked that one :) although I expected them to be friends forever without saving each others lives, and not to sell out for their differences, it was good :) I guess we all make mistakes and learn from it, , and this was not traditional conservative creation with unquestionable values. I dont know if kids would understand that though, that not every friend that you hurt because of your differences can be capable of forgiveness. But maybe the message was to choose the best of friends and not to make mistakes like that :) Not to be a hunting dog just because someone told you, you are :) 6 months ago

Collectorofcats Hercules

I had this one recorded on our DVR for a few weeks. I wanted to watch it with my granddaughter but as soon as she saw what movie it was, she told me she didn’t like it. I finally watched it by myself last night. It wasn’t as good as most Disney fare but it wasn’t too bad, either. I’m glad I didn’t ever have to pay to see it. 7 months ago

AgneZed23. The Rescuers

Umm, I dont know how could this happen. But I didn’t liked it . not even close. I was bored and forced myself into watching this with biiiiig biiiig breaks. So far the only one I didn’t liked from disney, but however it’s always the first time for everything and everyone :] 7 months ago

itsasecretThe Sword in the Stone is good

Oliver and Company was cute and I really liked Beauty and the Beast . Too bad they don’t make movies like they used 2. 8 months ago

Collectorofcats The Princess and The Frog

I watched this with my granddaughtet this last weekend. Unfortunately, it was on network television and it seemed there were more commercials then actual movie. Otherwise, it was a sweet story even if a little hokey. My granddaughter kept pretending she was a frog and hopping around during the music numbers which Disney animated movies are noted for. There was some vague similarities between this movie and another nondisney animated movie called All Dogs Go To Heaven. Of course, that could have been my imagination. 8 months ago

itsasecretI found Beauty and the Beast

and am picking Oliver and Company. They’ll both work since there vieos. :) 9 months ago

AgneZed22. The many adventures of Winnie the Pooh

This was oriented to the little ones, mostly. Very simple, plain, but nice and cute to see, especially, when all the scenes are seen in the book in the childhood. 9 months ago

AgneZed21. Robin Hood

Saw this for the first time, loved the characteristical descriptions expressed through the animal characters :) And Robin was absolutley charming, what I didn’t like was the understatement of evil powers, it seemed the king was very stupid, almost retarded and Robin won the battle of principles without any fight. But in general I feel nostalgia for the medieval atmosphere and it is always a pleasure to see something like that with some extract of fantasies 9 months ago

AgneZed20. The Aristocats

I had the Aristocats book, but until now haven’t seen the cartoon :) And I was amazed :) really, very nice values, family, the bohemic life. Ahhh. This was amazing. The only thing I remember from this fairytale was the soup ‘a la Edgar” and cats sitting in front of the moon. :) 9 months ago

AgneZed19. The Jungle Book

Seen it before, musically funny, and sometimes i enjoyed it, sometimes not xD depends on the mood, i guess, i liked it now, though, nostalgia… :) 9 months ago

itsasecret101 Damaltians was good

AgneZed18. Sword in a stone

Good ONE. Had the cassette of vcr in the childhood, always l;iked that u never know how it ends. I loved the character of Merlin and the educated Owl, living consciousness xDDD a very nice movie. 10 months ago

AgneZed16 and 17 Sleeping Beauty and 101 dalmatians

Saw sleeping beauty not long time ago, so didnt watched that over again, it was nice but left me with many questions then, and now 101 dalmatians was actually nice :] the metaphore of evil, the happiness and love for animals. thats nice :] 11 months ago

itsasecretdidn't really like Dinosaur

Tangled was good and Princess and the Frog was alright. Fantasia 2000 was good also. 11 months ago

AgneZed15. Lady And the Tramp

And dogs with their puppies lived happily ever after. it was a nice story in a beginning, kinda not fairytale-a-like, more realistic, less fantasies [except for talking animals]. It was different, i liked that for that. 11 months ago

itsasecretIf the library doesn't have working Dvd for the new 1's

I might rent them from redbox or see if there on Demand. I don’t buy them . They don’t seem to have the Disney magic that some of the classic do. 12 months ago
