Get MCSE 2003 Certification

My next exam is scheduled for the 27th of May, 2009. I am writing 70-400 – Configuring System Center Operations Manager.

I was hoping to complete the MCSE track early this year, but due to some personal issues, including a house burglary, most of my plans have been postponed. I am also considering not completing the MCSE track, but rather moving onto the MCTS track. Luckily, because I have already achieved the MCSA qualification, I have fewer exams to write. 70-400 counts towards either the MCSE or the MCTS.

I wrote 293 as scheduled and passed. I have not written any exams since, mostly due to the fact that I am completely and utterly exhausted. Will finish the last 3 early in the new year, after I have had a bit of a holiday.

I wrote 70-291 almost 2 weeks ago (1 October) and scraped through. This also earned me an MCSA qualification, because of my NT4 MCSE. Yay!

Next up is 20-293, which I am writing on Wednesday (15 October), leaving me with another three exams, scheduled (in my head) as follows:

29 October: 70-294
12 November: 70-297
26 November 70-400 (SCOM)

I wrote the second exam two weeks ago (70-290), scored the same as for the first – odd. Hopefully I don’t wait another 4 months before I book the next one.
Actually, I have started preparing for it, and I feel almost ready, so I suspect I will be writing in the next two weeks or so (depending on when I can get a booking)

I have passed two of the seven exams I need to take. They wernt as bad as I imagined.

I passed the first exam (70-270) this past week. The next one (70-290) is planned for end of April.

first exam is Windows XP (70-270), and it is tentatively scheduled for the 15th of Feb.
