trip the light fantastic

I could have danced all night…

“Come and trip it as you go,/On the light, fantastic toe.”

It’s a line from John Milton’s poem “L’Allegro.” It basically means to dance. I want to dance. I would take a ballroom class, or tap dancing class or something if I could afford it.

For now, I think I’ll just find a library and check out a book on dancing.
