find all of the space invaders in manchester

I did this in one day – it took about 6 hours but i kinda knew where about 20 of them were anyway. The one in piccadilly gardens is the hardest to spot and its a bit of a crap one too. Its a really cool day out though going down the backstreets and looking up at the different buildings. I thought id found all 47 of them but keep seeing a few more all the time. Ive even done my own one next to the soup kitchen in the northern quarter and put one up in soho too. i also did my own design of clouds – one on canal st and one near retro bar so far. more to come

It turns out one of them got destroyed when a building opposite piccadilly was demolished, so there’s only 46.

So I downloaded the map from http://www.space-invaders.com and with the help of my trusty assistant we managed to bag 21 of them. It took about 3 hours to do that, so the rest can wait till another weeekend.

I mentioned this to a friend and he said there are maps available with them all on (which I’m ignoring). He also said there were 47 of the things.

I pass about 4-5 of these things on the way from piccadilly to victoria. I didn’t realise there were 40 or so.
