sigh
I kind of ruined the book I was using so now….I will start over.
I need to get a new notebook.
How I did it: just got a blank book of pages and began creating artwork alongside my favorite quotes--which keeps growing....and oddly enough my 'book of quotes' is morphing into just a book of random, sentimental keepsakes of mine : )

How is everyone else compiling their “book of quotes’?
Are you just writing quotes in a notebook?
Is it online?
Are you doing a full-on elaborate self-made scrapbook type book?
Please share! =]

I love quotes!
I want to write a book of quotes, not only for myself, but also that it may help anyone who happens to come across it.
Kind of an all-in-one of what I believed and respected in my life.
As I’ve started to compile quotes (and there are a lot of them!), I’ve noticed most of them are by C.S. Lewis!
But, I’m pretty sure I’ll end up with a 500-page book filled with only quotes! =p

Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.
- Les Brown
“In Life, people tend to wait for good thing to come to them. And by waiting, they miss out. Usually, what you wish for doesn’t fall into your lap; it falls somewhere nearby, and you have to recognize it, stand up, and put in the time and work it takes to get it. This isn’t because the universe is cruel. It is because the universe is smart. It has its own cat-string theory and knows we don’t appreciate things that fall into our laps.”
I always wonder why things that I want in life never seem to happen, or why it seems like I’m always in a rut. But then, i realized that anything I wanted to achieve in life, or anything that I’ve learned and grown from has always been something that I had to endure and achieve all on my own, and without any help. And usually, the answer’s right in front of me; or has been dangling in front of my eyes until i finally reach an ‘ah-ha!’ moment.
It kind of makes sense, then. Maybe our answers are right in front of us, but we’re just not looking hard enough—or even at all.

My goal is to gather fifty sayings. I figure that’s enough of a start to make a sweet little book to share with family, friends, and my kids.
